SME digitalization in Nord-Est: €15,000–100,000 at up to 90% — call closed, projects in delivery

Grants of 15,000 to 100,000 euros, a maximum funding rate of 90%, six counties — Bacău, Botoșani, Iași, Neamț, Suceava and Vaslui: call PR/NE/2023/PI2/RSO1.2/1, officially named Transformarea digitală a IMM-urilor orientată către creșterea intensității digitale, gave SMEs in Nord-Est some of the best digitalization terms of the 2021–2027 exercise, against a call allocation of 31 million euros. One eligibility rule decided most applications: the de minimis scheme supports SMEs from sectors other than Information and Communications Technology, so a company holding an authorised ICT NACE code on the submission date was not eligible. Submissions opened on 1 October 2023 and closed on 30 November 2023; the selected projects are in contracting and implementation, which changes the nature of the questions companies ask: no longer how do I apply, but how do I turn an approved budget into accepted, working systems, on time and eligibly. Our role in this phase: we build the software component exactly as described in the approved funding application — ERP, CRM, process automation, online sales platforms — deliver in stages with acceptance documents, and prepare the technical file behind every reimbursement request. To companies in the region that missed the call, we say it plainly: this window has closed, and the active alternatives are national — including POCIDIF 2.1 for ICT-coded firms, open until 30 September 2026, with a ceiling of 1,500,000 euros where the result is an innovative software solution.
