The call code PRC/172/PRC_P2/OP1 is what separates the first Centru digitalization call from everything written around it. Submissions ran from 15 December 2023 at 12:00 to 15 July 2024 at 12:00, and ADR Centru today shows the call as inactive. The published allocation was 32,014,709 euros, of which 27,212,503 euros came from the ERDF and 4,802,206 euros from the state budget. Per project, the grant started at 15,000 euros and reached 200,000 euros, subject to the conditions applying to de minimis aid, and applicants had to be companies registered under Law 31/1990 qualifying as micro, small or medium enterprises within the meaning of Law 346/2004. A second call under the same action was published on 28 April 2026 and went through public consultation between 28 April and 20 May 2026, with an announced budget of 14,113,032 euros; on 30 July 2026 ADR Centru had published no submission window for it, so its ceilings, scoring grid and final activity list are not settled. Frequently asked questions

We are implementing under call 1 — can we also apply to call 2 when it launches?

The general rule for successive calls allows a new, distinct project provided the same costs are not funded twice. The exact restrictions for call-1 beneficiaries are set by the call-2 applicant guide, which on 30 July 2026 was still a consultation draft. Until the final version is published there is no answer we can quote, and we do not publish inferences as facts.

What did the first Centru call actually fund?

Four core activities, in the guide's own wording: adopting digital technologies to improve internal processes, naming RPA, CRM, PLM and ERP, VR/AR systems and IoT data collection used in automated production lines; developing artificial-intelligence solutions, from spam filters and recommendation engines to limited-memory systems and text-to-image automation; digital communication with suppliers and customers, e-invoicing included; and training on the digital tools purchased. Consultancy for the application, project management, financial audit and publicity were listed separately, as related activities.

How long does a 100,000-euro project realistically take to implement?

For a typical mix of ERP plus automation plus training: 4–8 months from signing with the supplier, depending on data-migration complexity and your team's availability for testing. Add procurement before and acceptance with reimbursement paperwork after — which is why planning starts from the funding-contract deadline and works backwards.
