A second chance for companies in the Centru region: digitalization call 2, after consultation, before launch
What decides who belongs in this call is not turnover or company age but the field of activity: projects must digitalize companies operating outside the ICT sector.

The presentation sheet published by ADR Centru together with the consultation guide for call 2 of Action 2.2 contains one sentence that rules out part of the readers of this page: under this intervention, the supported investments must lead to the digitalization of activities and processes in companies operating outside the ICT sector. That is the exact opposite of the POCIDIF 2.1 condition, where an information-technology CAEN code is mandatory. A software company in Brașov or Sibiu has nothing to submit here; a factory, a distributor, a clinic, a hotel or a haulier does. The remaining figures, all from the consultation version: an allocation of 14,113,032 euros, of which 11,996,077 euros ERDF support; non-repayable funding between 15,000 and 200,000 euros per project, under de minimis rules; a competitive call with a submission deadline. Public consultation ran from 28 April to 20 May 2026, and at our check on 30 July 2026 the call page on regiocentru.ro still displayed the status in consultation, with no final guide and no announced submission window.

How we help
The entry condition checked first
The rule on activity outside the ICT sector is verified before any discussion about the solution, the budget or the timetable.
A budget built on intangible assets
The consultation guide requires investment in intangible assets. The cost breakdown starts there, with equipment as an option.
A project designed around the digital intensity index
We pick components so the company ticks several of the twelve index criteria, rather than one large purchase.
Software eligible under this programme
- ERP and CRM
- Process automation
- E-commerce
Frequently asked questions
Our company holds an IT CAEN code. Can we apply to call 2 in the Centru region?
The call's presentation sheet states that supported investments must lead to the digitalization of activities and processes in companies operating outside the ICT sector. On that wording, a company whose own business is information technology is not the audience of this call. The route for IT firms is a different one: POCIDIF action 2.1, which explicitly requires technology CAEN codes. The final wording remains the one in the approved guide.
Can monthly software subscriptions be covered by a project under Action 2.2?
Yes, according to the consultation presentation sheet: the adoption of digital technologies may include the purchase of temporary software licences, on a subscription basis paid to a supplier for a defined period. That is a meaningful difference from programmes that accept only perpetual licences, and it changes the cost structure for a company running SaaS solutions.
How much can we actually request if the company has already received de minimis aid?
The call ceiling is 200,000 euros per project, but the de minimis ceiling applies on top of it: a maximum of 300,000 euros for a single undertaking, from public funds, over three years, at the InforEuro rate on the date the aid is granted. The amount actually available is the difference between that ceiling and the de minimis aid already received in the reference period, calculated for the single undertaking rather than the individual company.
