SME competitiveness in Sud-Muntenia: the five RSO1.3 calls and what is still open on 30 July 2026

Specific objective RSO1.3 of the Regional Programme Sud-Muntenia 2021-2027 is the line through which the region financed company competitiveness, and the managing authority calendar assigns it five calls: four closed and one, for clusters, still pending after a public consultation that ended in June 2025. The largest, PRSM/267, carried a total budget of 144,000,000.00 EUR and accepted applications between 30 April 2024, 08:00, and 9 August 2024, 12:00. The first one, PRSM/160, reserved for micro and small enterprises, carried 47,058,823.53 EUR and closed on 15 July 2024, 15:00. One detail in the objective description changes how the whole line reads: the managing authority places the use of information technology among intangible investments that accompany technological modernisation, not as the subject of a call of its own. Sud-Muntenia therefore never ran a digitalisation call for companies; it ran competitiveness calls in which the digital part could sit next to the main investment. Northdan Soft enters such a project as the supplier of the software component, never as the author of the application.

Frequently asked questions

Is any regional call open on 30 July 2026 for digitalising a company in Sud-Muntenia?

No. The six calls marked open in the programme calendar cover county roads, energy efficiency in public buildings, urban mobility, urban regeneration, electric-vehicle charging infrastructure and technical assistance. Every call under RSO1.3, the SME competitiveness objective, is either closed or pending.

Which digital component could be financed through the RSO1.3 competitiveness calls?

The objective description lists intangible investments — management and production methodologies, adapting new technologies to production flows, intellectual property rights and the use of information technology — as companions to technological modernisation. Whether a specific licence or application qualified was settled in each call guide, never by analogy with another programme.

Our company is in Prahova. Does that change anything?

Yes, one real thing: Prahova sits inside the Just Transition Programme area, so companies there can reach a route the other six counties of the region cannot. The conditions, ceilings and calendar are read in that programme guide; we do not issue eligibility verdicts for any line.
