Software for retailers

Customers see one brand across store, site and phone — retailers whose systems agree with that win the basket.

Retail’s hard problem is coherence: the same product, price, promotion, stock level and customer identity must hold true across shelves, webshop, marketplaces and the service desk — at all times, at scale, during sales events. Most retailers run this on systems that were never introduced to each other, and the symptoms are familiar: online orders cancelled for phantom stock, promotions that apply in one channel and not another, loyalty points that work “except online”, and managers who cannot say which products earn margin after returns. We build the connective systems that fix retail coherence — integration between POS, e-commerce and warehouse; unified product and pricing management; loyalty programs that recognise the customer everywhere; and analytics that report margin per product per channel truthfully. The measure of success is mundane and absolute: what the customer is told is always true.

What you get

Stock that tells the truth everywhere

Store, warehouse and online availability synchronise continuously — click-and-collect and ship-from-store become promises you can keep.

Prices and promotions, centrally ruled

Campaigns defined once apply correctly across every channel and till — no more sale that half the estate ran a day late.

The customer recognised everywhere

One customer profile spans store purchases, online orders and loyalty — service and marketing act on the whole relationship, not a fragment.

Replenishment driven by numbers

Reorder points calculated from actual sales velocity and lead time per location, rather than from what the store manager felt last week — less capital sitting in slow stock and fewer empty shelves on the lines that actually sell.

Frequently asked questions

We have a POS and a webshop already. What would you actually build?

Usually the layer between: synchronisation of stock, products and customers, plus the reporting neither system gives you alone. Replacement is the last resort, not the sales pitch.

Can loyalty work across offline and online?

Yes — a central loyalty service that POS and webshop both call, with points, tiers and vouchers resolving identically at the till and at checkout, in real time.

How do you handle peak events like Black Friday?

By engineering for the spike: load-tested checkout paths, queue-based order processing that degrades gracefully, and stock reservation logic that prevents overselling at exactly the moment overselling is most likely.

What happens if a store loses its internet connection?

The till keeps selling. We design point-of-sale to work offline against a local copy of prices and stock, queueing transactions and synchronising once the link returns. A retail system that stops taking money during an outage is not really a retail system.
